Youth Media Forward participant Jeevan interviews Kelly Babstock, a Canadian-American ice hockey player with the Boston Fleet, in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
Babstock has Ojibwe roots and is originally from Little Current on Manitoulin Island, part of the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. She talks about her experience as a woman of indigenous heritage in a male-dominated sport and provides advice for aspiring athletes.
